Refunds & Returns

- Return period: 14 days from delivery
- Condition: Must be unused, complete, and in original packaging

- Defects: Covered for 2 years under warranty, unless caused by misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear
Standard Returns
We want you to feel confident about your purchase. If it’s not the right fit, you may return your order within 14 days of delivery, as provided by EU consumer protection law.
How to return:
- Email us at info@layertheory.com with your order number and reason for return.
- We will reply with instructions for preparing your return.
- Pack the product securely in its original packaging, including all parts and documentation.
Returned items must be complete and in good condition. Minor packaging wear will not affect your right to a full refund. If the product shows signs of use, is missing parts, or has damage beyond what is necessary to inspect the item, we may apply a deduction to your refund.
Return Shipping
For standard returns, shipping costs are always paid by the customer. We recommend using a tracked service to ensure safe delivery.
Refunds
- Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect your return.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
- Original shipping costs and payment processing fees are non-refundable.
Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return your order for a refund and place a new order.
Defects & Warranty
We take great care in making and shipping your order. However, if an issue arises:
- Report any visible damage to the packaging directly to the delivery provider upon receipt.
- If you receive an incorrect or damaged product, contact us at info@layertheory.com with your order number, description of the issue, and photos.
- If your product develops a defect within 2 years of delivery, notify us at info@layertheory.com, including your order number, description of the defect, and photos.
Notes on Warranty
- Damage caused by misuse, abnormal use, accidents, wear and tear, or improper handling is not covered.
- Once we review your claim, we will confirm whether the defect is covered under the legal or commercial warranty.
- If covered, we will, at our discretion, provide one of the following at no cost to you:

- Replacement with a new product
- Price reduction
- Refund
For approved warranty claims, we will cover the return shipping costs. If the warranty does not apply and the product has already been returned to us, you will be responsible for the cost of the return and any shipping back to you.
